Process Groups

Process groups have been formed for major USNH business processes. These groups are responsible for designing the future business solution within the SCT software. Members consist of business process owners, system office staff, campus based end-users and dedicated project staff.

Groups have been created for the processes listed below. Click on the name of the process group to see the group's membership.

Employment Management 

Benefits Administration 

Payroll/Labor Distribution/Time & Attendance 

Mass Salary Increase Process 

Budget/Position Control 

Chart of Accounts/Financial Operations 

Buy/Pay 

Billing & Accounts Receivable  

Sponsored Programs Post Award Administration

Membership was divided into four roles -

  1. Chair - responsible and accountable.

  2. Regular - working group.
  3. Executive Focus - advisory.
  4. Resource - "on call" experts.

The Process Groups are responsible for -  

Attending targeted SCT training to become familiar with software in process group's specific area(s). Designing the future business solution in the software and identifying any proposed process changes to resolve gaps. Drafting updates to policy and procedures. Participating in testing and quality assurance. Developing and reviewing end user training materials.
