Training, Training, Training!

As the date for Banner HR go-live gets closer and closer, many of you may be wondering about training.

Training for all future Banner HR users will start in the spring of this year.  Since the conversion to BANNER Finance in January 2002 when the majority of training was conducted either in Hewitt Hall or at Nesmith Hall, FRESH Headquarters and CIS Training have moved to One Leavitt Lane (in the same complex of buildings as Human Resources and Printing and Mail Services).  There are two 12-station computer labs located in this building and the majority of training will be taking place here.  There will also be some classes that are offered in the MUB and in the new Facilities lab at the Leavitt Center. 

The Banner HR training schedule is very close to being finalized.  Similar to Banner Finance, both concept training and hands-on training classes will be conducted.  As the time for classes gets closer, we will have more information on this website to direct you to the proper location to sign up for the classes you will be needing.  (For those of you who also went through Finance Training, the registration process will be very similar).   

We will strive to provide you with the most up-to-date links for registration and transportation to make the training process as easy as possible.
